Communication by a means other than the five physical senses. The scholar F. W. H. Myers coined the term as "The communication of impressions of any kind from one mind to another, independent of the recognized channels of sense."
Telepathy differs from clairvoyance in that telepathy involves a communication or thought transference with physically living beings. Clairvoyant impressions are supernormally, or psychically, perceived beyond this realm.
Telepathic messages are transferred more easily and quickly between counterparts. Some of these messages may be fantasies that appear in another's dream.
