Last night as I was going to sleep, I suddenly had flashes of "memory" from a dream I had several months ago or even a year or so back. In this memory, I instantly had the same feeling that I had when I first had the dream. This made me wonder what roll feelings have in dreams.

You can sometimes have a dream in which you would normally be filled with fear if confronted with the same situation in waking life, yet you feel calm and peaceful in your dream state...at the same time, you might have a dream of being in a pleasant environment, yet be full of dread.

While I find these rare instances interesting, I find it more interesting how the memory can channel feelings faster than it does sights or sounds or other sensations. Of course this makes sense, as feelings likely operate on a MUCH higher vibration than the more tangible senses, I just find it nice to think about.
