A specific spiritual and metaphysical interpretation of ancient Hebrew scriptures, regarded as esoteric by Theologians. Sometimes spelled as Cabala or Kabbala. It is said to have originated by certain Jewish Rabbis who interpreted the scriptures numerically (See also Judaism)
